Dr Denise Lucas

Denise graduated from Auckland Medical School in 1983 and worked in Napier and Auckland hospitals before heading off overseas with her husband to work in England.

After working in England for two years they returned to New Zealand to raise their family of five children.

Denise has trained in General Practice and is a Fellow of the NZ College of General Practitioners.  She has worked at Glenfield Medical Centre since 2002 and is loving her work here.

Denise has a Diploma in Child Health and loves seeing children.  That said, she enjoys all ages and has a special interest in women’s and older people’s health.  She has a Postgraduate Diploma in Travel medicine and is keen to see any travellers for all pre and post travel advice.

When she is not at work Denise enjoys family life and is keen on marathon running, tramping, gardening and reading.

Denise is available for appointments Tuesday and Friday.
